- went out to Worcester (south of Birmingham)
- visited Worcester Cathedral with very old history and many chapels (great)
- had a rest in a park near the college (forgot the name, sorry)
- visited the markets and an architectural masterpiece:

- visited Museum and Art Gallery: very nice with many paintings, historic things + audio guides, touchscreens, interactive areas (for children) and headphones to listen to artists’ stories
- had a drink in an original pub, cool eh
- had dinner in »Shahs«, probably the best place for indian food in England

- met a friend to stay at her home until thursday
- chilled out for the rest of the day (by looking a little TV)

2006-04-01: Exploring London Part IV
- investigated London’s life on saturday: same amount of people, some more coloured as on weekdays, heavy load in the clothing-stores
- bought some souvenirs and toys for the kids
- rested in the Hyde-Park, visited Speaker’s Corner (unfortunately nobody was speaking)
- had to take replacement busses for the underground (perfectly organized, no troubles)

- travelled through the tourist’s centers of London to join all the busy people (thousands)
- checked out Harrods: nice, but nothing for me
- checked out the nightlife (from enough far away)

2006-03-30: Exploring London Part II
- Richmond around the hotel (for food and recreation)
- The National Gallery (no fee for visiting famous painting, e.g. van Gogh’s Sunflowers, some Monet’s and many other, I’m amazed, bought some souvenirs and donated some money
- The Trafalgar Square and the Masses there
- The HardRock Cafe and HardRock Shop! Took some pictures, bought a baseball-cap and enjoyed fosters with cool music and historical instruments on the walls 8) cool eh!
- Bought a newspaper with local events for planning the weekend

- explored the city: various sights: Westmister Abbey, London’s Eye, Houses of Parliament with Big Ben, Buckimham Palace, St. James’s Park
- explored Richmond for food
- tested nanoblogger for blogging, seems perfect: editing on console and generating xhtml for upload :)

2006-03-28: 1st day
- left germany by Airberlin, nice jet, nice crew, exciting first personal flight
- arrived england, got tube ticket for 4 zones and 6 days, very easy moving around by the tube!
- went to the Shandon House Hotel in Richmond, nice little hotel, clean and comfortable room, not too expensive living there
- explored the city: Tower Bridge and environs
- took a bath in the hotel and felt to sleep …
